Q. What are Outlet stores?

A. Outlet stores first opened in November 2000 due to customer demand for quality Marks & Spencer goods in an outlet environment. Outlet stores predominantly sell clothing items from previous seasons.

Q. How do stores cater for people in wheelchairs?

A. We have a policy in place to ensure that aisles and walkways in all areas of the store are clear, free from clutter and wide enough for wheelchairs, prams and electronic scooters at all times. All our stores fulfil the requirements set by the Disability Discrimination Act e.g. automatic doors, lifts, ramps etc. And some of our larger stores have electronic scooters and wheelchairs available for customer use while shopping instore.
